Hey, everybody. Welcome to Camp Little Bites. We're virtual summer camp, packed with a lot of activities and a lot of Little Bites muffins. And we're here to make this the best summer ever.

Today we're going to be making a muffin box bird feeder. Now, I love summer. I love seagulls, hummingbirds, blue jays. I guess I just love birds. And check out those cuties over there. These little bird snacks are pretty fun and also very yummy.

Now, today is going to be so much fun because we are going to send our love to the birds by making these bird feeders. Let's get started. For this project, you'll need Little Bites muffin box, markers, construction paper, paint, paint brushes, tape, scissors, hole puncher, hot glue gun, a little cup of water. And don't forget your string.

Now, we eat so many Little Bites muffins in my house. But before I recycle them, I save some of the boxes for crafts. What we're going to do for this one is cut down the side and all the way down the bottom and the other side. What that's going to create is our base for the bird feeder. Check it out. Cute, right?

But now my favorite part? Time to decorate. The first thing you're going to do is when you cut your panel, you're going to use the hot glue gun. I like to do just small little dots. A little goes a long way. Place this right on the panel. Press down for a couple seconds on each corner. Perfect.

Now it's time to paint. Birds are a huge part of our life. Even at my house, we have hummingbirds morning, noon, and night that come to the backyard. That's when I was inspired to do a bird feeder because I thought it would be fun to look out our back window and always see them come by.

This is looking so cute. I love it. Needs to dry just for a minute or so. Now, whatever you choose to decorate, have fun with it. Check out these other ones for inspiration. We've got planets, funky shapes, clouds, flowers. This one is super cool. I love it. It's kind of retro.

Now for the fun part. We punch our holes, string it, and fill the birdseed. Trusty hole punch. Let's do this. You want to go down about an inch or so. Give it a good grip and pop it. Next side, same thing.

Now, if you don't have string at home, you can use things like fishing line, maybe even some ribbon. I would say you need anywhere from about 2 to 3 feet, depending on how high or long you want to hang yours. You just want to make sure that you knot it really well. Today we're going to do a double knot. Perfect.

You might need to give it a little trim. All right. It's finished. Let's see. Look how awesome this turned out. These birds are going to flock to this. I can't wait to see yours.
