Hey, everybody. Welcome to Camp Little Bites I'm your counselor Erica. Today, we're going to be making splatter paint socks. Listen, when I think of splatter paint, I think of parties. And when I think of parties, I think about Little Bites Party Cake muffins. For this project, you'll need a cardboard box, a pair of white socks, a bunch of rubber bands, some paint, paint brushes, and a small cup of water.

Let's get into this. First off, make sure you get a good stretch with your rubber band. It's going to go right over your box. You're going to continue to do this all the way down.

When I was a kid at camp, I was living at the arts and crafts cabin. I did everything you could imagine from painting stained glass, woodworking. Literally, I did everything. Lots of tie dye, too. That looks good. Maybe just one more right here.

This project is great because any age will have fun with this. If they're small, parents can put the rubber bands on. If they're older, they can do them. The good news is, everybody can do the pluck. Kind of fun, too.

Now, next up, we want to slip our socks inside. These ones are from my son. We're ready to go. Now, my paint brushes here are going to go right into the paint. We want to get them super saturated, get a good amount on there.

Now, you can go all the way down and paint a full rubber band. Or you can do small little sections like this. Keep in mind, it will drip. But you know what? It's actually a good thing because ultimately, we're going to have a lot of splatters and drips. So we're kind of just getting a head start, if you think about it.

This orange is going to look so cool. This is actually a great activity to do if you are having a birthday party. Growing up, I actually had arts and crafts birthday parties all the time. It's a fun theme to do, especially during summertime.

Looking good to me. You want to put one hand down on the box just so it doesn't fly up. And with your other hand-- oh, man! Ah! This is looking crazy! Be careful. You might get splattered.

I think we did it. These look super fun. Let's check them out. These look awesome. I'm obsessed with them. I hope you are too. Thanks for joining me today at Camp Little Bites. Party cake on.
